I was in Pittsworth Monday afternoon 22.1.18, and stopped at the bakery across the road from the butcher having a coffee break and saw the "Sausage King" sign on top pf the awning outside the Butchers, and, being up for the challenge wandered across the road and bought 2 kg of thick beef sausages and a dozen rissole's. Well I had snags for dinner tonight (WEDNESDAY) and true to the sign they were brilliant, very little fat when fried up, and a nice tasty meaty sausage. Just what they should be. One of the best snags I have had in my 68 years of eating snags all over Aus. I can definitely recommend Ashton's Butchery for your Snags. I will be back thats for sure, but its a bit of a drive from Brisbane, so might be a while.Here we are 12.12.18, called in today on the way back from Texas again, bought some more delicious rissoles, and some thick beef and Pork snags, and some crumbed steak.. Currently eating the crumbed steak for dinner, and its gorgeous, thick cut, and very tasty, Looking forward to the snags next week. My missus went in this time and she was very impressed with the store, the service, and the selection of fine meat on display. .

We moved and I can't find sausages anywhere to compare with theirs. They have a great range of meats and little dinner thingys. But I used to hate sausages until I found theirs. They are the sausage Kings of Australia.
This is the best butcher anywhere. Amazing sausages (especially the Italian Casalinga), no preservatives. Meat is hormone free, and grain fed is available. Great to have a local butcher where they remember your name and there is always a smile and a laugh. Just perfect.
