Been there a few times .Its not called Sunkist Cafe anymore its knowen as Diner on the Downs.Food was very good in the past but after today I'll say the fooled was dam terrible. ..
Helpful but no wheelchair access. Staff come to door to take my order and I eat and drink on tables outside or takeaway. Friendly helpful and good fresh food.
Waited 55 minutes for our 3 hamburgers and chips. Chips went into the hot box at half an hr wait. So were sitting in the hot box for 25 minutes you can imagine how they tasted when we received them. Not impressed at all. Why they couldnt give us the chips as we were sitting in the store to dine in I will never understand. (We were the only ppl in the store too) Will not be coming back.
This cafe is now known as the DINER ON THE DOWNS. They have changed the decor and now has a lot of motoring enthusiasts memorabilia. The service was pretty good for a small-town cafe.
